Google Making the Call
Google is in the beta phases of their latest marketing products, Pay-per-Call. The marketing product simply lets advertisers add their phone number to the ads and Google helps make the connection between the consumer and the advertiser.
The telephone numbers are not shared with advertisers or anyone else, and are kept on Google servers for no longer than four months after the last time a person uses the service, the Mountain View, Calif., company said. Numbers are deleted permanently after that time.

Google seems to think that this marketing strategy will take off and it may as well might, we will see how interested in the consumers are about talking to the advertiser directly rather than just viewing their website. It could have endless possibilities, it’s just the matter of it taking off or not.
